Before you start a job

Confirm licence numbers with your state regulator, agree the rate and scope in writing, and check insurance and site inductions. Don't rely on a badge alone — a verified state reflects the checks recorded at that time, not a guarantee.

Red flags

Requests to pay upfront fees, pressure to work outside your licence class, vague site details, or anyone pushing the conversation off-platform straight away.

Reporting

Every job page and tradie profile has a Report option. Tell us what happened and we'll review it. Reports are private to you. If someone is in immediate danger, call 000.
