Terms of use
Subbie Me is a peer-to-peer network for Australian tradespeople. We connect tradies with each other. We are not a recruitment agency, a labour-hire company or an employer, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with another member.
Your account
One account per tradesperson. The same account is used to post work and to find work — the role is decided job by job. Keep your details accurate, including your trade, licence and qualification status.
Licences and compliance
You are responsible for holding the licences, insurances and tickets required for the work you post or accept in your state or territory. A "verified" state on Subbie Me reflects the checks recorded against your account at that time — it is not a guarantee of a member's competence, licensing or insurance. Always confirm licence details directly before engaging someone.
Work, payment and tax
Rates, invoicing, GST, superannuation, insurance and safety obligations are agreed directly between members. Subbie Me does not process payments and does not take a cut of your rate.
Acceptable use
No fake listings, no unlicensed work, no harassment, no discrimination, no scraping and no posting other people's personal information. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
